Our History

​Quasar have been supplying and installing systems since 1983. ​A brief history of Quasar Control products, Industrial, Utility and Enterprise editions:

• 2016 Version 3.0 is completed and updates rolled out to all sites.
• 2015 Version 2.0 is completed and delivered to all the Scales Group Cold stores and Provincial Cold Stores in Blenheim. This included the Enterprise Edition allowing aggregating of data from all cold stored into a central server. In addition, the Utility Edition is installed at Alpine Energy replacing an existing load control system and integrating to existing SCADA systems.
• 2014 Version 1.0 is installed at the first three cold stores in Napier and Hastings.
• 2013 Quasar Systems commence development of Version 1.0 of Quasar Control in conjunction with Scales Group to manage all their Cold Stores around New Zealand.
